Smarter Than I Realize.....

The enemy is smarter than I realize or give him credit for...He knows exactly how and where to attack us to keep us from our desires and happiness. He knows not to attack me physically because I will continue to stay on God's path. For me, it's emotional and my mind. And he packs a powerful punch but I will not let him deceive me any longer. I surely won't let my friends come in and trick me either. The sad thing with friends is that they have no idea they are being used as the enemy.
Everyone....Guard yourself so you aren't taken down by the enemy or being used as one of his men. Ask yourself....Is what is coming from my mouth pure and lovely? Is it lifting people up or bringing them down? Let us all, me included think before we speak or act...Our actions and speech should be full of love and compassion.

God Is Our Strength

I was awakened at 3 am and I am glad I was because a friend needed me. She didnt contact me directly but I saw her post on FB. Before I saw her post, God had laid a word on my heart...Isaiah 26.
Her Mom is back in the hospital and may be transported back to Morgantown. So, after I read Isaiah, I knew I was supposed to give het this word...Trust in the LORD forever. For in Him, the LORD is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:4.
How many of us, myself included know that God is our strength? All of us know this but we don't  grab onto Him like we should. How much easier/simplier would life be if we would just hold onto Him?
I picture it like this....We are in the ocean riding the waves of our lives and He is our surfboard. We should just be along for the ride and let Him do all the work. This is what He is here for...Cast all your care upon Him For He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7
Let God be the surfboard today in your life :)

Keep Plugging Along :)

Has God or anyone told you to quit? Has God or anyone given you any indication to stop going after what your heart wants? Has God told you No? If these answers are no, then DO NOT QUIT and keep going after what your heart wants.
I know waiting is the hardest part for any situation especially when you are so excited. It is all you think about and you just want it all to come together. Remember, the more we wait, the greater the reward. I know, it is still hard. I am waiting now for something to come to pass. I honestly think God gave me this so I would write it and read it for myself. This is my reminder that I am not supposed to quit or give up.
God didn't tell me and neither did the other person. God told me to wait patiently on Him. The other person today me to relax and take it easy. Neither of these people told me no. :)
I am getting excited and angry because i know something great is happening and will continue to happen and unfold the way God wants it to. It will happen in HIS time...Not mine. I am not worried or scared. I am just ready for the next chapter of my life to start.
So, while I am waiting, I should be getting closer to God..Delighting myself in Him and He will give me the desires of my heart. I should be doing His work and getting stronger thru Him. I know thru this test, He is giving me tools, guidance, and knowledge I need for my next chapter.

Why choose to be miserable?

Are you sick..tired..depressed..lonely..angry..hopeless..or all the above?
Next question..Why and why do you continue at this pace?
Do you understand there is a simple solution? No, I am not talking about drugs or alcohol. Yes, I am talking about Jesus, your friend and God, your Father. I know, you are thinking, lay off the preaching. I am sorry if you think I am preaching but I want you to understand there is more to life than sickness and depression and you don't have to live this way any longer.
You are thinking..I know God. Do you really know God or do you think by going to church every Sunday, you know Him?  Sorry kids, you don't know Him. Unless you engage Him on a daily basis, you have NO idea who He is or what He can do!
Do you fully understand He can take away all of your sickness, depression, and your anger? Lets be honest, why do you want to continue to be miserable? I am serious. I want to know because honestly i can't understand why anyone wants to go through life this way. Maybe you don't realize there is more out there..Maybe you think this is the norm. Well, honey, it ain't the norm. You can experience pure happiness and joy beyond your wildest imagination.
Stop placing Jesus in the "religion" box and place Him in your heart with RELATIONSHIP written over it. Jesus is NOT about rules and regulations! He is your friend and companion.
You might be thinking, how do i start? I am a sinner..Jesus doesn't want to be my friend..I have let Him down. All of us are sinners. He died for our sins. He wants to heal you and help you! Let Him help you. You do not have to do this alone.

Will you be kind or will you judge?

A friend has been heavy on my heart since yesterday. There are more hurting people in our town than I imagined. If you are like me, you think oh, this is Keyser. Stuff like this doesn't happen here..Only In the city...WRONG!!

Drugs are on the rise...Crime is on the rise..Homelessness/Poverty is on the rise while Unemployment is on the decline along with sense of security and hope. What is wrong with this picture?

Wake up Keyser! Our community needs your help. Stop letting things just go and keep happening! Start helping your neighbors. Stop judging and criticizing! Start showing some compassion and kindness!

So, I ask you, what will you choose later today and the next day....To judge or to be kind to your fellow man?

Stop being busy

STOP being busy!!!

When was the last time you sat down and talked to God? He doesn't make excuses so He doesn't have to listen to you and He answers your prayers. How many of you ONLY go to Him in an "Emergency" prayer time? STOP!! God wants a relationship with you. He is your Father and loves you. He only wants the best for you.

So, why not start building that relationship with Him now? Let Him help you so, you aren't struggling any longer. Let Go and Let Him love you!

You Never Know....

Let me reminder you that you never Know when God will use you..I ran into a friend today and she didn't see me at first so, I casually said her name because I knew God wanted me to speak to her about things going on in the church..I am so glad I was obedient..She really needed someone to talk to even if it was only for 15 mins...You just never know when God is going to put a certain person in your path...So, the lesson tonight is...Listen to God

When God Speaks...

I want everyone to know that NONE of this is for me!!! I do this for God, my Father. He gives me the words because someone out there needs it. I only pray that it soaks into your soul and a transformation starts to take place. I want everyone to have what I have...such a love for God and Jesus that you can not contain it! So, please don't think I am doing this for a popularity contest because I am not. To be honest and please don't take this wrong but I don't care what you all think of me. My job is to please God, not people. So, get ready cause the posts are coming more freely. I am not holding back any longer!

Child of God

I will no longer turn my back on God...I will embrace being His chosen princess. I have always known about Him but have never grasp the full concept of Him until a couple of years ago. So, for  38 yrs, I haven't had a good relationship with Him. This saddens me. Why didn't I grab onto Him?

Are you like me years ago? You "know" about God but don't have any kind of relationship with Him. Do you know He wants the very best for you? He desperately wants to know you, heal you, and help you. Stop calling on Him just when you need something in an emergency. He isn't just an emergency God! He is THE God of ALL THE TIME!!!!! Let me ask you this, how do you feel when someone just comes to you when they need or want something? It feels pretty crummy. Stop doing it to God! He deserves sooo much more!!! Do you understand how much He loves you? He sent His one and only Son to be beaten, made fun of, and to die a horrific death for you to be saved. Let me ask this, how many of us could give up our sons or daughters to die for someone else? I am going to say none of us. I know what death does to a parent. It rips you to the core and tears families apart.

So, why do you want or why are you separated from God, YOUR Father? He only wants what is best for you. He is the ONLY one who truly loves you unconditionally. He is a loving God. Do you feel you drifted so far away, He won't take you back? Wrong. He is ready with arms wide open and is ready to forgive you and is ready to love on you. What are you waiting on? Don't you want to know and feel this kind of love? This is a love you will never know and it's one of a kind.

I was changed last night and I love it! If you have any questions or want a relationship with God or want to get to know Him better, contact me. I promise...you will NEVER be the same again!

Dear Lord

Father God, I want more of you! I want to fall into your arms and let you bring me peace and to heal me. I want to be consumed by you Lord. Am I missing something? I want you to pour into me so I can pour into others. I want late night talks with you.

I shouldn't keep telling you what I want. I should be asking, "What can i do for you, Father?" "How will you use me today?" "How can I change someone's life not day?" I want to change lives Lord! Please give me the knowledge and wisdom I need to be the change and to do your will.

Revival

Special services turned into a full on Revival. Pastor Chuck was only supposed to be with us for a week. Well, God had other plans. We are working on week 2! God is AMAZING! People have been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. God is moving people and he ain't even close to being done.
What are waiting on? Quit making excuses and quit letting distractions get in your way. You are only hurting yourselves. Let Jesus into your heart and let Him heal you!
